Jo knows how to make people smile
Clients look relaxed in Joanne’s pictures and often comment on how she puts them at ease with her approach. Many even say the experience was fun. She is very personable; she asks her clients about themselves and about their day and genuinely enjoys the conversation. She offers clients a look in the mirror and gives them feedback on their appearance - fixing a stray hair or adjusting a tie. Her goal is to make her clients feel comfortable, which in turn makes them look comfortable, confident, and friendly. Just yesterday, a client came in from a big law firm. Jo greeted him and asked “so what do you do here?” He responded, “oh I’m the CFO” to which Jo said “oh that’s a big job” and they shared a laugh. Then he asked, “with or without glasses?” Within 30 seconds, Jo broke the ice, building trust between herself and the client. In doing so, she put him at ease and captured a wonderful smile.
